The town council of Trabanca counts, since 2004, on an Industrial Engineer to offer a technical counselling service in order to develop the renewable energies use among the population of the Arribes del Duero area:
- Projects design on photovoltaic and thermal solar energy.
- Profitability studies.
- Budgets.
- Subsidies applications.
- Installations legalizations .
A photovoltaic installation is being projected. It will be connected to the mains in order to sell 45 Kw power. It will be installed on the parking roof of the Thematic Park , diminishing, in this way, its visual impact and avoiding the 64 Tm of CO2 emission per year.

SUBSIDIES
On the one hand, Castilla y León Regional Government, acting by the Regional Energy Entity (EREN) , publishes around February their Renewable Energies Development Plan. The application deadline ends in March.
On the other hand, the Industry, Tourism and Trade Department, acting by the Institute for the Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE) offers a financing line by the Institute of Official Credit (ICO-IDEA line). The application deadline ends around June or September.
SOLAR KITCHEN GARDENS
The main objective is to collaborate in order to put in common some formalities and, at the same time, to facilitate the possibility of investing in electricity production by the use of solar energy.
This is carried out, since not everybody has enough money or space to invest on photovoltaic installations.
