The Arribes del Duero Natural Space is characterized by its landscape diversity. It combines waved reliefs plenty of details, typical from a sober and simple landscape, with wide valleys characterized by almost vertical canyons whereby the river Duero flows as well as some of its affluents (Tormes, Huebra). This is the way in which spectacular bank takes its shape.

It is a severe and abrupt orographic formation which determines not just the landscape, but the singularity of the flora and fauna of this Natural Space.
