Every year, during the month of August, the International Theater and Scenic Arts Festival takes place in Trabanca, coinciding with the Theater Sample Arribes-Trabanca.

These events are aimed at the theater promotion in the rural world. They imply, in this way, the promotion and consolidation of contests that, year after year, have the commitment to promotion of this kind of activities in the Arribes del Duero Nature Reserve.

Festival after festival, it has become a meeting point for groups of theater from Castilla y León, and from the rest of Spain . Nowadays it is an indispensable cultural act for the inhabitants of the Arribes del Duero area and for those visiting it at that date.

During this Theater and Scenic Arts Festival, as well as in the Theater Sample that takes place outdoors, are staged both classic and avant-garde representations, attracting a great number of audience and extending the cultural offer in the Arribes del Duero summer nights.
