The project “ Bordering Equality” ( " Rayando la Igualdad "), headed by the Town Council of Trabanca and managed by the Association for Equality in the West (ADPIO), is framed in the Communitarian Initiative Equal of the European Union. It has been provided with a budget of 1.475.000 €, that are destinated to the abolition of any kind of inequalities and discrimination in the Labour Market.

The whole project is articulated through the creation of an Integral Employment Service , located in Trabanca, that will draw together all the stages in the process of getting a job, from sensitizing, training, counselling, support in the search, insertion… to the following up in the employment position.

This project is preferably addressed to the women in the Arribes del Duero . In order to reach its objectives, it uses innovative techniques in services´ rendering, which have been designed having in mind their necessities.

The local enterprises and their productions take an important role in the above mentioned project. Thanks to this project, enterprises will received funds to start up their business, as well as subsidies to hire women, etc.

In one word, it is a full programme which will make possible the incorporation of women to the labour market in the Arribes del Duero.
