At the same time, I would like to give you a brief description of what Trabanca is.

Trabanca is a municipality that has become the most dynamic and enterprising one in the province of Salamanca . In this town, new ways of employment in Public Administration have been implemented. We have adopted the necessary criteria for an efficient public service, but, overall, criteria based on the establishment of projects which will generate good prospects for our citizens.

The implementation of the development model we have, has meant the creation of employment up to unknown levels for those municipalities with less than 5000 citizens (an average of 45 workers in the Town Council). We have put all our faith in new innovator projects. Nowadays, that implies an economic boom that generates the creation of new enterprises and the strengthening of the existent ones. Tourist development, as the core of the daily work, has motivated enterprising employees to settle in Trabanca. We celebrate important national fairs, such as The International Craftworks Fair ( Feria Internacional de Artesanía, the largest one in the region of Castilla y León) or the Food and Agriculture Fair in the Arribes del Duero ( Feria Agroalimentaria de Arribes del Duero, the second one in importance in the region of Castilla y León), The Scenic Arts Festival ( Festival de Artes Escénicas ), the International Wine Fair ( Salón Internacional del Vino) and the Leisure and Spare Time Fair ( Feria de Ocio y Tiempo Libre) . All of them have placed Trabanca in the business public eye and, as a consequence of that, Trabanca has become a place you cannot miss out.

More than 60.000 visitors came to Trabanca last year. They came to our village for visiting the Fairs, the Portuguese street market, the Theme Park, the tourist office and the great beauty of our landscapes. This encourages us to keep working to serve a municipality wide-open to development.
