The second option is the Route of the Stone and the Fire . Those interested in visiting the Arribes del Duero Nature Reserve, the hydroelectric power station in Bemposta (Portugal), the Theme Park on Traditional Constructions and the Forge in Trabanca, a winery, a mill for making olive oil and a viewpoint in Villarino de Los Aires should chose this option. Lunch will be served in Trabanca in La Retoñera de Arribes Restaurant.

The Theme Park on Tradicional Constructions will allowed us to know the traditional architecture and culture of the Arribes del Duero Nature Reserve. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a good sample of constructions which have had a lot to do in the agricultural and farming activities in the rural World.

To be concern about the importance of these handmade jobs in our village we will visit the Forge in Trabanca . Here we will delight the magic of the fire and, the know-how and skill of Antonio, the blacksmith who worked in this place for more 40 years

Finally, we will travel to Villarino de Los Aires where we will be able to see the regional wine and oil elaboration processes visiting a winery and a mill for making olive. To finish with, we will have the opportunity of leaning out of a splendid viewpoint over the River Duero, the Mirador de La Faya , a wonderful balcony where you will admire the special Arribes landscape.

  • Visit to a mill for making olive oil and a traditional Winery in Villarino.
